Each transportation with our own vehicles is insured under the annual policy of CMR insurance. CMR insurance is the insurance of the carrier's responsibility for complete or partial loss of goods or their damage during transportation performed pursuant to the Convention on the Contract for the International Carriage of Goods by road - CMR (hereinafter the “Convention”).
Our responsibility for the goods transported is covered with the limit of 250,000 euros for 1 accident, and 500,000 euros within the insurance policy.
Our secure insurance partners having flawless reputation on the insurance market are B&B Insurance Co. and Belvneshstrakh Insurance Company closely co-operating with the leading insurance companies (Lloyd’s of London, Hannover Re, CCR and others).
The Convention limits the carrier’s maximum responsibility for 1 kg of gross weight of the goods lost or partially damaged in the amount of 8.33 SDR (ca. 9 Euros) that is why while transporting goods with high or declared value we provide additional CMR insurance at the customer’s request. In this case the limit of 8.33 SDR is not applied, and our customers receive full insurance indemnity irrespective of the goods value and weight.
According to the Convention the carrier shall be held liable for the goods loss or damage not in every case. The secure solution of this issue for the client is cargo insurance. At the client’s request we are ready to insure goods under international terms “against all risks”. In this case the insurance company would indemnify for all the damages arising as a result of loss or damage to all or part of goods happening due to any reason, except the common standard reservations.
The rates of cargo insurance and additional CMR insurance for our customers are very low and competitive. This is explained by the fact that our co-operation with insurance companies is organised on the long-term and mutually beneficial basis, which enables us to provide lower rates.
For your convenience our experts undertake drawing-up of the documents and insurance contracts and, at your request, provide copies of insurance policies, and in case of a claim provide consultations to you and support the settlement process until you receive the reimbursement.
